We (Jessica Wilson and Benj Hellie) are associate professors of philosophy at the University of Toronto. We initially started this blog as a means of tracking and blowing off steam about various outrages subsequent to the Bush-Cheney coup. Both because we experienced outrage overload and because there are now any number of blogs (see, e.g., our Regular Reads) that are doing a great job of reporting reality-based news, we aren't posting much these days. But true to our name, we are keeping the blog alive for the indefinite future, both as a record of the past and as an explicit statement, for anyone who might be interested, of where our political allegiances lie.
