Charges of criminal assault have been filed by Brad Carr (philosophers will appreciate his David Lewis-like looks and demeanor) against Robert Novak, who attacked Carr after the latter called him a traitor. No smoking gun in the video linked to in this Kos post, but plenty of convincing testimony: Daily Kos || Comments || Novak Assault Video. In the video, Brad says:
I suppose if you're a traitor, which by definition I think he is, because he's outed a CIA agent... which puts that person and possibly hundreds of peoople in jeopardy... It's a federal offense... I think, you know, he lost his cool because he doesn't want to be reminded that that's what he did.
The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language (4th ed. 2000) defines "traitor" as "One who betrays one's country, a cause, or a trust, especially one who commits treason." That dictionary gives the primary definition of "treason" as "Violation of allegiance toward one's country or sovereign, especially the betrayal of one's country by waging war against it or by consciously and purposely acting to aid its enemies." Law.com provides a similar definition of treason, which includes: "Treason requires overt acts and includes the giving of government security secrets to other countries, even if friendly, when the information could harm American security."
Sounds like Novak qualifies, supposing other countries have access to townhall.com.
A written eyewitness account of the assault can be found at the January 28 posts (no permanent links available) here. More details and links here.
