More grist for Benj's Mill

Trickster and Matthew Yglesias have open threads inviting people to try to come up with cases where Bill Clinton specifically lied about policies. Amazing how little anyone has been able to come up with, compared with the veritable tidal wave of dissemination that is our daily dose from the present administration. Gee, was it just that Clinton was basically an Honest Abe (apart from his mischaracterizing certain activities that weren't anybody's business, anyway), or (more likely) is it just that (modulo those times he was kissing the butt of the right, as with welfare reform) he didn't need to lie?
